Let’s kick off our adventure to the Cu Chi Tunnels! You can choose to depart from your hotel at around 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM. The journey will take us through the beautiful countryside, which once served as a stronghold of the Viet Cong during the war. When we arrive, you’ll start by watching a fascinating short video that gives you a glimpse into what life was like for soldiers during that time.
These cramped tunnels were at the heart of several key strategic operations, including the famous 1968 Tet Offensive. They bear the marks of history, with massive craters left behind by American B52 bombers. The tunnels weren’t just hiding spots—they were living quarters, supply routes, and even hospitals for thousands of guerrilla fighters.
Today, they stand as a powerful testament to the incredible resilience of the Vietnamese people. For those feeling adventurous, you’ll also have the chance to visit a nearby shooting range, where you can purchase bullets and test your aim with an AK-47, MK16, or machine gun.
After exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels, we’ll hop back into the car or van for a comfortable transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. The trip wraps up at your hotel after about five hours. We hope you’ll leave with unforgettable memories!
