Day 1 Hanoi

Morning & Afternoon Activities:
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our guide and driver will greet you warmly. Check in to your hotel and spend some time relaxing after your journey.

Evening Activities
In the evening, our guide will pick you up from your hotel for an exciting Hanoi night street food tour. Immerse yourself in a vibrant world of street vendors offering an astonishing variety of goods, from fresh seafood to exotic fruits and spices. Your English-speaking guide will provide fascinating insights into the complexity of Vietnamese culinary traditions, including the ingredients and history behind the dishes you’ll try.

Sample a wide range of street foods and enjoy a French-inspired snack from a street cart or local food vendor. Stroll through Hanoi's bustling old quarter, where you’ll encounter iconic dishes like Bun Cha (famously enjoyed by the 44th U.S. President, Barack Obama), Nom Bo spring rolls, and Vietnamese spring rolls—one of the nation’s most cherished dishes. Observe skilled chefs as they prepare these delicacies.

Continue deeper into the heart of the old town, where the street stalls reflect Hanoi’s unchanged local life from over 1,000 years ago. Indulge in barbeque specialties at outdoor stalls, enjoying perfectly grilled meat, vegetables, and bread enhanced by the smoky flavors of hot coals. For dessert, stop in a small alley to try a local treat made of fresh fruit, crushed ice, condensed milk, and a splash of milk—a refreshing specialty you simply cannot miss!

Your guide will also take you to one of Hanoi’s hidden culinary gems, a tucked-away street food restaurant where you’ll get to try top-rated local favorites such as Banh My, Vietnam rice wine, and the famous egg coffee. If coffee isn’t your preference, a refreshing cold beer awaits!

Wrap up the evening with a Water Puppet Show at Thang Long Theatre, a captivating cultural performance that showcases Vietnam’s artistic heritage. After the show, you can continue exploring at your own pace or have the guide escort you back to your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi - Duong Lam Village

Morning Activities
Begin your journey with a visit to Duong Lam Village, where your guide and driver will take you to the iconic banyan tree and traditional village gate—one of the most renowned village gates in Vietnam.

Explore Mong Phu Temple, an ancient structure over 400 years old, as well as the Giang Van Minh Flower Detective Church. Visit one of the old houses, where you can take photos with a traditional rice mill, purchase soy sauce and Lam Tea, and enjoy a hearty lunch in a beautifully preserved wooden and laterite house.

Continue your exploration with visits to Phung Hung Temple and Ngo Quyen Temple. According to legend, King Ngo Quyen once tied elephants here centuries ago. On the way to Mia Pagoda—an iconic temple of the Doai region—stop by several other historic houses. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon & Evening Activities

Proceed to Thay Pagoda, renowned as Vietnam's most famous feng shui pagoda and a stunning representation of northern Vietnamese ancient architecture.

Afterward, visit Van Phuc Silk Village, a thousand-year-old silk weaving community and a proud cultural symbol of Ha Dong and Hanoi. This traditional village, with its charming heritage, draws both domestic and international visitors.

Explore the silk factory to learn about the intricate silk production process and browse for premium silk products, including colorful clothing, hats, bags, and ties.

Return to Hanoi and enjoy dinner at your own pace. Spend your evening wandering around Hanoi's Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, or other nearby attractions for a memorable experience.
